Tonight, President Obama will address the nation with his first State of the Union speech in his second term.
But he won’t be alone. USAction will be here, live-chatting the event in real time. Will you join us?

Getting the President re-elected was just the beginning. Now it’s up to us to pressure the President and Congress to enact a progressive agenda.
That’s why, at the beginning of the new year, we polled our base of over 500,000 USAction members, to ask what issues YOU cared about and wanted us to focus on in 2013.
Well you spoke, and we listened. And the number one issue our members said was MOST important to them was Money Out, Voters In — putting fair elections back in the hands of voters, not corporations — by a whopping 41%!
Coming in at second place was protecting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, with 28% of respondents saying protecting social insurance was the most important issue to them.
Additionally an overwhelming majority of our members — nearly 80% — said they would like to take action on achieving comprehensive immigration reform.
Other issues that polled well included focusing on the environment and climate change, holding Wall Street accountable, reining in wasteful Pentagon spending, gun violence prevention and making corporations and the 1% pay their fair share.
Now it’s up to you and me to make it happen.
Already this year, more than 66,000 USAction members have taken action to rein in wasteful Pentagon spending! And with your support, we’re organizing events across the country on February 27.
On Tuesday night, we’ll be watching the State of The Union, keeping our members’ priorities in mind and we hope you will join in on the conversation too.
We hope to see you there!
